I'm a designer, researcher and writer working at the intersection of patient experience, chronic illness advocacy and unconventional medicine.
My own experience with chronic Lyme disease sparked this work. What began as a personal crisis became a personal pursuit: understanding why some illnesses remain invisible, and what happens when medicine reaches its limits. I'm interested in contested diagnoses, the role of narrative in healing, and creating tools that honor patient perspectives.
I came to this work through product design and UX research. The core skill is the same: listening to people whose experiences are overlooked, and translating feedback into solutions.
I also serve on the board of Rose Charities Canada, where I support their eye care & Ophthalmology project supporting Vision Together Nepal. We bring eye care to people living in the Mount Everest region, Upper Dolpo, and other remote locations with no access to vision services.
I donate 1-5% of my annual income to causes that support Lyme disease awareness, advance research, or support patients.
